The intake and filtering of welding fumes, aerosol, gaseous fumes, etc..., has always been a problem for the Companies, since, where the working stations were not fixed, adequate countermeasures became impossible.

Savio S.r.l., has found a solution to your requirements with the autonomous SMEC filter.

It is very compact and easy to handle, suitable to take in and filter welding fumes, aerosol, gaseous fumes and suchlike.

It is constructed with screwed galvanised steel panels and tight seals, studied to contain the intake section and the various filters, inserted according to the type of fumes to be sucked in and according to the filtering level to be obtained; this permits extreme versatility of use in different manufacturing sectors.

The filter is also fitted with wheels for quick handling and can be inserted on the intake of one or more articulated aspiration arms with patented SNODOASPIR articulation.

Operation is simple, but very effective, in fact the fluid taken in by the centrifugal squirrel cage fan is conveyed in a descending vertical flow, first into the decantation chamber where the air is slowed down, then with a change in direction.

In this way the pollutant is forced to decant the larger suspended particles in the specific container.

The air is then intercepted by a set of filters with progressive efficiency that, according to the type of aspirated fumes, can be installed in different ways.

In fact there is a very varied range of filters: metal EU3, ACTIVE CARBON, EPA, ABSOLUTE, EU16. In the standard version, the filters for welding fumes have three sections: metal pre-filters - rigid pocket filters - active carbon filters.

After passing through the filters, the air is conveyed and returned to the environment by a vertical flow through an impeller type centrifugal exhaust system, directly coupled to an asynchronous electric motor.

The distribution of the air re-emitted into the environment at low speed keeps the noise down to minimum levels.
